Before their wedding at the Newport Beach LDS temple the following day, Emma and Jamis began their wedding weekend with a sunset bridal session on the California beach. And, honestly? It was a gorgeous night that I'm still obsessed with.

I followed them around as they played in the sand, I laughed right along with them when onlookers stopped and stared, and I prompted them through some more editorial-style poses in addition to their natural, candid interactions. Our videographer, Justin Wintch, was right there alongside us, capturing close-up shots as well as breathtaking overhead drone footage of the entire evening.

Emma and Jamis were STUNNING against the beach sunset. With the ocean waves crashing in the background, they laughed, danced, and giggled every time Justin and I freaked out over how amazing they looked.

Probably the best part of the night was when Justin had everyone else step back so that he could capture aerial footage from high above with his drone. He was able to perfectly capture the magic of Emma and Jamis' love, as well as the beauty of the California coastline.

Their Newport Beach bridal session was just the beginning of an unforgettable wedding weekend, filled with love, laughter, and plenty of fun. And I feel incredibly lucky to have been a part of it all.
