Thousand Steps Beach in Laguna, with its dramatic cliffs and expansive ocean views, is one of my favorite spots for bridal sessions—even with the (literally) thousands of steps down and back from the sand. The golden light at sunset, the sound of the waves, and the sense of adventure as you make your way down those many steps all contribute to the magic.

Big Cottonwood Canyon is a stunning location for any photo session, but it’s especially magical for bridal sessions. The lush greenery, the sweeping views, and the tranquility of the canyon create the perfect backdrop for couples in love. Last summer, I had the chance to photograph Beth and Marcus for their bridal session in this beautiful setting.

Spring is such a special time for family photo sessions. The wildflowers are just beginning to bloom, and there's a feeling of renewal in the air. Last week, I had the chance to work with my friends Brooke and Brigham and their two kids, Harper and Jax, to capture some family photos among the newly blossoming fields.

There's something magical about the summer mountains. I grew up in Iowa, so it’s something I’m learning to get used to, and I can honestly say that it is one of my favorite parts about living in Utah. The air is crisp, the greenery is vibrant, and the world feels alive.

My best friend has a brand new bff since the birth of her first baby, John, and I was SO excited when she asked me to come document their first few weeks as a family of three. Spoiler alert: it involved lots cuddles, house plants, and some seriously adorable photos!

I was close to tears during this entire session because it was so special to capture my best friend’s pregnancy announcement. Olivia and Chase are going to be the BEST parents, and I was *honored* to capture these photos to share their exciting news with the world.

My brother getting married to the love of his life? And asking me to capture their day? 100% YES. Sam and Kennedy's wedding day began with a morning ceremony at the Ogden Temple, complete with the typical December weather for northern Utah. We had snow, rain, and sun all in one day!

A snowy couples session that ends in a snowball fight? YES PLEASE. Ellie and Dane's session in the Idaho mountains was an absolute blast! From the moment we stepped onto the trails behind their house, it was all smiles and laughter.

At the Meridian, Idaho LDS temple, McKayla and Cameron kicked off their lives together with their friends and family to support them. I got to capture a mix of smiling portraits of the couple and their families as well as candid laughs & hugs with their loved ones.

Before their wedding at the Newport Beach LDS temple the following day, Emma and Jamis began their wedding weekend with a sunset bridal session on the California beach. And, honestly? It was a gorgeous night that I'm still obsessed with.
