My best friend has a brand new bff since the birth of her first baby, John, and I was SO excited when she asked me to come document their first few weeks as a family of three. Spoiler alert: it involved lots cuddles, house plants, and some seriously adorable photos!

Emma’s house is a perfect mixture of her mom’s interior design business and Emma’s job as a greenhouse manager. Picture soft, neutral art and furniture mixed with more house plants than seems actually possible to have in a Provo apartment. Add in a brand new little nursery to the beautiful design and thriving plants? It would have been difficult to NOT get good photos of the little family.

Getting to capture those first precious moments of Baby John in his natural habitat with his mom and dad was pure magic. Emma and Cairo are naturals at helping each other, doting on their tiny baby, and meanwhile looking amazing in front of the camera. If I could redo this photoshoot every single day, I would be there in an instant! It is such a joy and an honor to capture these important, precious moments for my friends, and I can’t wait to watch John grow up. :)
